[ It's takes Jamie a bit before he can accurately tell her where the Stark's home is. It's been their home since Jamie arrived the second time. Technology isn't his strong suit. ]
[She knows the Stark house well, and so it takes her almost no time at all. She walks, not teleports, not wanting to wreck her own injuries and stitches. There's a rutsack slung over her shoulder, but that's hardly an unusual sight, not anymore.]
Jamie?
[It's a bit rude to open the door, but on the other hand, it's not as if she's unexpected.]
[ Claire's tucked away in another room resting. Which gives him a greater calm as he waits for Rosalind to arrive. He cannot pace, but he does find somewhere to sit. His kilt hides the injury and bandaging. His skin is still rather red and sore looking. He's got bruising on his face and in various spot under his shirt, but that's hidden away. For now.
When she arrives he smiles from where he's seated. Happy to see a familiar face. Even if they're both a bit worse off than their last interaction. ]
There ye are. [ He almost motions for her to come over, but instead he pushes himself up onto his feet. His teeth grit and he stands straight. ] Do ye need a hand?
[Her eyes dart over him, cataloging what injuries she can see. It's not much, and she's certain he's hiding worse beneath his clothes, but she won't press just yet. If she does, she'll have to give an equal report on her own, and she's not quite ready to tell him.
(In no small part because she knows he'll get angry. He'll demand to know Tani's name, he'll be desperate to fight him, and she won't put him through that).]
I'm not that badly off just yet.
[But she reaches for him impulsively, fingers sliding lightly against his arm, hungry for physical contact that isn't harsh or abusive. She glances down, focusing on nothing at all for a few seconds. Then, quietly:]
[ He's not sure how this compares to how he felt after his time with Randall. Everything hurt. Still likely worse with Randall. Though the injuries are different the mental injuries inflicted upon him by Randall would always be there. The others might leave a scar or two, but that was it. He may not have been injury free, but he feels his wife had it worse in there. Though he'll likely always say that. ]
Aye. Yer a strong one.
[ Jamie smiles a little bit when she reaches out for him. He's stopped flinching when people touch him suddenly, but it took some time. Even with his time as a captive again the urge didn't return. ]
Ye dinnae want to ken all o' that. I'm breathing. That's all that matters.
[A beat, and she huffs a laugh, wry and unamused.]
We might just spend an afternoon avoiding looking weak in front of one another, Jamie. I think we could manage it.
[She wants to know very badly what happened to him, but he certainly won't if she doesn't. And she trusts him (she does, actually, and that's unusual, she's going to have to think about that at some point; it isn't the deepest trust she has, but it's something, and that's more than most people get).]
. . . they deprived us of sleep before asking us questions. And when we wouldn't answer, they turned to more . . . traditional methods of extracting answers. Aiding them was some sort of hideous creature that would attack periodically.
[A few seconds pass, and then she adds:]
. . . though there was a man there who, ah, who didn't care much for answers. He was simply pleased to have me caught.
[She says all this stiffly, proudly, describing it as clinically as possible, as if it happened to someone else. But her free hand goes to her throat, fingers picking lightly at the high collar.]
Well, I've never thought ye a weak lass, Ros. So, ye dinnae have to worry about that one bit with me.
[ Telling her wouldn't change anything. It wouldn't solve none of it. The issue has been rectified. Though he would love to get his hands on the ones who did such horrible deeds to his friend. Same as he wanted to hurt the ones who did this to his wife and the people he cared about. Vengeance has been denied to him several times.
Jamie listens on as she talks to him. Telling him what was done in a summed up version of events. He frowns at the thought of some man taking pleasure in that. He almost asks if the man hurt her, but he's no fool. He sees her expression and her body language. He's no fool. ]
I see. [ He nods. ] They posed questions t' us. When we were silent or dinnae have answers they resorted t' violence. Later t' injecting us with a whole manner of things or forcing us to ingest things.
[ If his wife hadn't been in so much pain from the skin loss he imagines she would have been there as well checking him over. She tried when they were still captives, but he refused to let her. She was already in so much pain. He didn't need her worrying. ]
Wee bit of blindness was nae going t' stop me.
[ His senses had been overloaded as well. Overloaded to the point of pain in every direction, but he had stored it away. ]

I would appreciate that. I don't want Claire to wake and find me gone.

The worst of it was the bullet wound.
